

Dark Matter was founded in January of 2018 by a group of women focusing on alt/indie/rock emerging and established artists. Since then, we are averaging around 2,000 new views and 5,000 impressions a week. Our mission is to provide a platform for women, non-binary humans and those in the LGBTQ+ community to prosper and develop their portfolio within the music industry.

Jackie hails from the birthplace of rock 'n roll, Cleveland. She earned a BA in photography from Brooks Institute and has 20 years of experience under her belt. When she’s not shooting, working on her LGBTQ+ passion project, or in LA traffic, she’s probably watching horror movies with her fiancée, roommates, and cornucopia of pets.

When she’s not at a show, you can find her spending too much time in the Overwatch DPS queue, trying to find a good horror movie, or playing Ultimate Frisbee.

Rachel “Cabbage” Scott is a photographer from New York City. A hobbyist turned professional,
Rachel has been taking photos all her life. Her first camera (besides disposables) was the Sony
Mavica, the floppy disk digital camera. Her bucket list includes photographing a Fall Out
Boy show, the Superbowl half-time show, and taking photos in every country of the world.

Ashly has a bachelor's degree in Photography. She resides in Los Angeles and is from Houston, Texas. Ashly is a Warped Tour alumni (pit reporter for warped 2017) and has been photographing shows and behind the scenes since 2013. Her favorite artist and person to work with is Lights. In her free time, you can find Ash wondering through the many lands of Disney or doing production and photo work outside of the music world.

Megan graduated with her BFA in 2-Dimensional studies with a focus in photography in 2015. She loves Switchfoot and got to play bass with them once during a concert and will never get over it. Martha is a freelance photographer in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she has been shooting shows since 2014 when she first covered the Vans Warped Tour. She enjoys shooting and reviewing shows from festivals, club shows and in between. Her music tastes shift between rock, indie, R&B, rap/hip-hop, and pop.
